Administrator
Makayla’s career in healthcare began at just 16 years old, working in the kitchen as a dietary aide—and from that moment, she was hooked. Over the years, she’s worked her way up through nearly every facet of senior care: from CNA to Assisted Living Manager, then Business Office Manager, and now proudly serves as Administrator at Rehabilitation Center of Allison. This hands-on experience gives her a well-rounded perspective and a deep appreciation for the dedication it takes to deliver quality care.
For Makayla, this work is personal. She’s on a mission to change the perception of nursing homes as communities full of connection, laughter, learning, and new beginnings. She’s most inspired by the residents who blossom into the most active participants in daily life. It’s those transformations that fuel her commitment to creating an environment where happy residents and happy families are the norm—and where quality of care goes hand in hand with quality of life.
Director of Nursing
Lisa brings heartfelt commitment and hands-on leadership to her role as Director of Nursing at Rehabilitation Center of Allison. A lifelong dreamer of becoming a nurse, she turned that dream into reality, enrolling in nursing school at Purdue Global University and graduating as a registered nurse in 2019. She joined Rehabilitation Center of Allison in 2022 and has proudly led its nursing team ever since.
To Lisa, Allison is more than a workplace—it feels like a second home. She holds herself and her team to the highest standard of care, always striving to treat residents the way she’d want her own parents or grandparents treated. That approach shows: resident satisfaction remains high, and many share how genuinely happy they are to call the community home. With empathy at her core and leadership shaped by real-life experience, Lisa continues to inspire a culture of comfort, respect, and exceptional care.
Assisted Living Manager
Judy has proudly led Elm Springs Independent & Assisted Living as the Assisted Living Manager for the past nine years, bringing warmth, dedication, and a deep appreciation for seniors to everything she does. Her journey began humbly at Java’s Bakery and Deli—just next door—where she worked part-time for two years before being invited to join the Elm Springs team. Starting as a universal aide, she spent 11 years learning the ins and outs of resident care, eventually stepping into leadership and building a close-knit team she describes as one that “truly cares about our tenants and supports each other.”
Her passion for working with older adults comes from a genuine love for hearing their stories and honoring their resilience. Judy believes deeply in helping seniors maintain independence while receiving the care they need, and she takes pride in creating an environment where that balance is possible. Under her leadership, Elm Springs earned a deficiency-free survey in May 2025—an achievement she credits to the strong team she’s built.
At Rehabilitation Center of Allison, we’ve taken every aspect of the transitional rehabilitation experience and completely redesigned and reimagined it. We specialize in a full spectrum of rehabilitation services, including Cardiac Rehab, Orthopedic Rehab and more.
Elm Springs provides independent living with 24-hour nursing care at the Rehabilitation Center of Allison. Residents enjoy private walk-out patios, ADA-accessible bathrooms, and full kitchens in a secured environment.
