My sister Marilyn has had some walking and coordination issues for a while now, and after experiencing a few falls, we knew she needed more support than we could offer at home. That’s when we chose Rehabilitation Center of Allison. Since she moved in, the team has taken good care of her. She had a few adjustment struggles in the beginning, but overall, things are working out well.

Marilyn doesn’t always remember names, but she always talks about how much she loves Ella—the caregiver who bathes her, trims her nails, and makes her feel pampered and cared for. It’s those small touches that really make a difference.

She enjoys participating in the activities offered and finds joy in staying engaged. I also really appreciate how well the staff communicates with us—especially when there are medication changes or other updates. It helps our family feel informed and included. I truly feel like Marilyn is not just being cared for—she’s being cared about.
